Record Keeping

On completion of this module, the learner will be able to:

  • explain the legal implications for confidentiality with patient information

Surgery Routine

On completion of this module, the learner will be able to:

  • prepare the surgery at the start of the day
  • support the patient and clinician during treatment
  • clean and re-set the surgery between patients

  • close the surgery and remove waste at the end of the day.

Working Within The Team

You should demonstrate that you understand how health and safety legislation affects general dental practice, and be able to undertake a risk assessment for your practice. KS5.2 outlines the areas of legislation for which you should produce evidence, detailing how your practice conforms to these.
